Richard
Newell has worked as a professional writer for over 20 years.
He established his reputation as a business journalist through
working for the Financial Times, The Times and a range of international
investment magazines.
He is a specialist in investment funds and
has spent much of his career travelling and researching international
markets. He has also worked in the corporate world as a director
of a UK-based fund research and asset management company.
Through his work in the media and in the
course of his consulting work, Richard has established the
need for quality business advice on external and internal
communications. He understands how companies often struggle
to communicate effectively with the media and with their clients.
In his experience, while top executives may understand the
importance of good communication, few know how to achieve
it. With his background in media, Richard specialises in teaching
company executives how to get their message across in a controlled
manner.
Richard is also a professional copywriter,
with a proven ability to communicate simply and effectively,
no matter how difficult the subject matter. He is regularly
called on by clients to review or to help prepare formal reports
to customers.
Richard
understands the importance of excellent client relations.
His
communications skills have added value to our personal investment
advisory service."
